Support my challenge to swim for breast cancer!

9 people in Australia die from breast cancer every single day.

This November, I am taking part in Swim For Breast Cancer for the mothers, sisters, daughters, friends and loves ones who are impacted by this devastating disease.

I am doing this to raise funds for National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) to support vital breast cancer research to help save lives.

Feeling hot hot hot and SMASHING my swim target

Wednesday 27th Nov
Last Friday and Saturday were so very hard. Pool was hot and slow, coaches had to give us breaks between sets to make sure we were coping with the heat......I jumped into the pool on Friday even before swimming and then came back in again after training... Loving the mermaid life. Awesome news is that I've reached my 27km goal so heading for 30km now

Saturday 16th Nov
How do I rest after 2 games of netball?.... I don't, I go the pool and do laps. 

Another 2km covered in the way to reaching my swim goal. Thank you to those supporting me with donations, they're going to a great cause. 

Half way through

Friday 15th Nov
Well past the half way mark for my target distance and half way through November. Had to take Wednesday off due to pain but back at it today and tomorrow too. Almost $750 raised so far so that $1000 is really in sight and I'd love to get there! Please support me if you can.

Monday 11th Nov
Almost $600 raised, almost half way to my goal distance.... Scary to think that 100 Australians, would have lost their lives to breast cancer since the start of this month and many many more are continuing their fight. Hopefully I can raise more funds to help fight this

Saturday 9th Nov
Happy to have surpassed my 10km mark... Thrilled with the amazing donations so far. Thank you. Today was a tough one, as I started the day with 2 netball games before hitting the pool in the afternoon.

Thursday 7th Nov
So November has started and I'm keen to raise money for breast cancer. 9 women die each day from this horrible disease and I'm keen to use my swimming and a dash of girl power to raise funds to help battle this disease and help save lives. 

I don't want this to be easy, so I'm going to triple the distance and aim to do 27km rather than the 9km. Wish me luck and please support me if you can.
