Did you know that every day 58 people in Australia are diagnosed with breast cancer and 9 Australians die every day from this disease?
I've decided to get active and set myself a challenge to raise funds for world-class breast cancer research to help National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) towards their vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer.
My challenge is to walk or run 9km per day to represent the 9 lives that will be lost each day in 2025 to this terrible disease. I have set my fundraising target to $21170 which is $1 for every new breast cancer diagnosis to occur in 2025!
