This month I’ll Go Pink! for the NBCF fundraiser — chopping my hair short and colouring it pink in honour of my beautiful friend Bec.
Bec fought with incredible courage right to the very end and even now she still finds a way to encourage me whenever life feels a little heavy. She’s never far from my thoughts.
Thankfully, I’m no stranger to a super-short haircut, and this year I’ve decided my bland winter wardrobe could use a cheerful splash of pink! If the biggest challenge I face from this makeover is a cold head on frosty mornings, then I'll just suck it up, count my blessings and send healing prayers to everyone affected by this heartbreaking disease.
