Following my own journey this year, and in support of friends who have journeyed this road before me, this June, I've made a pledge to COLOUR IT and raise funds for world-class breast cancer research to help NBCF towards their vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer.

As we enter the last few days of June, here is my final Go Pink update.
Below are (most of) the pink items I have been wearing to accessorise my pink hair this month. For a person who does not like pink, I am genuinely surprised how many pink things I own 😂
(To be fair, I am not intending to wear the headbands, bracelets, shoelaces or earrings after June 30! 😄)
Thanks to those who have supported me so far. I am extremely grateful! I am less than $200 off my final fundraising goal.
As I said last week, I am not generally an enthusiastic fundraiser, so I am extremely humbled by the comments and encouragement I have received this month. 🌸

Go Pink Week 3 Update

As we enter the final full week of June, here is my Go Pink update.
Thanks to those who have supported me so far. I am extremely grateful! I am very close to my final fundraising goal.
I am not generally an enthusiastic fundraiser, so I have been reticent to ask for support and I am extremely humbled by the comments and encouragement I have received. 🌸
However, I know that breast cancer (and other cancers) have touched many. So, if it would be meaningful for you to support research into breast cancer, please consider donating before June 30. Thanks 🩷

Folks - I  am absolutely blown away! Thank you SO much to all the people who have supported me so far. I am tremendously grateful for everyone who has partnered with me to raise funds and support for research into breast cancer.
We are not even half way through June and already I have met my target - twice. Wow!
Third time's the charm?? 
I am updating my target (for the final time I promise!) and opening the challenge to those of you who have been planning to support me, but haven't done so yet... you still have time before the 30th of June and my hair returning to its somewhat bland and normal self.

Thank you again to all the people who have supported me, and thank you in advance to all the people who will.

In the meantime, please enjoy my new photo of the upcoming accessories that will feature in my wardrobe this week.

Thanks to some very generous supporters, I have already met my initial fundraising goal only a week into June!

I now have a stretch goal of $750 which would be amazing if I could meet.

Every day, 9 Australians die from breast cancer. That means that during the course of June, whilst I am dyeing my hair pink and frantically trying to find pink accessories that don't make me look like a walking cupcake, an average of 270 families will lose a loved one. 

270 people who have friends and colleagues, neighbours and communities.
