57 for 57
Sunday 16th JunMy name is Brittany,
This August I will be walking 57km for the 57 Australians diagnosed with breast cancer everyday.
In 2007 my nan was diagnosed with breast cancer, within months my aunty was also diagnosed with breast cancer. For my family this was a very tough year but the years ahead proved to be the toughest. Sadly on May 8th 2016 my aunty Kerry lost her 8+ year battle, which she fought until the very end with positivity and courage.
Since then life hasn't been the same, especially for the beautiful family she left behind. Her husband Michael and 4 children Aaron, Samantha, Lochie and Abbie.
On April 14th 2024 one of my beautiful friends Tiff was also diagnosed with a rare breast cancer at the age of 32, Stage 3 Invasive Metastatic Mucinous Carcinoma. Her partner Josh has stopped working in time for her chemo and to help support tiff and look after their 3 children.
Tiff has always been there to support everyone around her, so now it’s time for her to receive the support when she needs it most!
You will find the link to her Gofund me page below.
