9 people in Australia die from breast cancer every single day.

This November, I am taking part in Swim For Breast Cancer for the mothers, sisters, daughters, friends and loves ones who are impacted by this devastating disease.

I am doing this to raise funds for National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) to support vital breast cancer research to help save lives.

2 years ago, I decided to swim 30km for breast cancer research after our beautiful Aunty Mandy passed away the year before, and was able to raise over $1500! This year I’ve decided to pick up the challenge again. In November, I’m aiming to swim a whopping 50km and raise $2000. 🫣 Breast cancer is something that has impacted my family on so many levels over the last few years. From losing Aunty Mandy, to having my other Aunty, cousin, and Grandmother all go through chemo and surgeries. The impact of this disease through my family is now multi-generational, and if I can play my part towards funding life changing research then I will. I’ll start my training swims next week and continue to document in the lead up to the challenge in November. ❤️
