Why am I being brave?
Summer's mission:
I've decided to shave and donate my beautiful locks to help raise funds for breast cancer research through NBCF. I was inspired to do this when I saw how brave my mum was after her diagnosis earlier this year. I want to show her that I can be brave too!
The National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) is Australia’s leading national body funding game-changing breast cancer research with money raised entirely by the Australian public.
I'm donating my hair to the Variety children's charity "Hair with Heart". My hair will be made into a wig for someone who had lost their hair due to a long term medical condition.
NBCF is working towards one goal: zero deaths from breast cancer by 2030. Together we can help them get there.
