Fuck Cancer 100km in April

Did you know that every day 58 people in Australia are diagnosed with breast cancer and 9 Australians die every day from this disease?  

I've decided to get active and set myself a challenge of walking 100km in the month of April 2025, to raise funds for world-class breast cancer research to help National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) towards their vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer.

Please support me and my pledge to save lives and make a difference.

Every donation, big or small, will get me closer to reaching my goal. Together, we can stop deaths from breast cancer.

A change from the past few days as there’s no rain around this morning and the temperature is perfect! You may have thought I’ve not been meeting the walking challenge. Rest assured my dear supporters, that is not the case! The NBCF platform is having some technical issues around logging activity - they assure me they are solidly working towards rectifying the problem. In the meantime I’ll keep trekking! Have a fabulous day!

First steps towards 100kms in April

Having finished 58 squats a day in March I am happy to keep abreast (see what I did there ?) of the community fundraising by joining Team Breast Defenders. We will each walk 100kms in April to continue raising awareness and funds towards Breast Cancer research. A heart felt thank you to all of you who supported me in the March challenge.
