Did you know that every day 56 people in Australia are diagnosed with breast cancer and 9 people in Australia die every day from this disease? I never used to think much of this until a very close friend of mine told me that her mother had been diagnosed with breast cancer. This statistic might be closer to you than you think.
This June, I've made a pledge to colour and shave my hair and raise funds for world-class breast cancer research to help NBCF towards their vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer.
