Did you know that every day 56 people in Australia are diagnosed with breast cancer and 9 people die from this disease?
After watching my Nana go through Breast Cancer 3x in 30 years, until we lost her to Stage 4 Breast Cancer in 2024, I thought that would be the end of having to worry about this awful cancer in our family... but then my Mum was diagnosed with Stage 2 Breast Cancer in 2026. It doesn't get easier. Even knowing the outcomes are improving for people who catch it early. It's not enough.
YOU HAVE TO BE CHECKING YA BOOBS, GANG!
Because of the above, this June, I've made a pledge to COLOUR IT and raise funds for world-class breast cancer research to help NBCF towards their vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer.
