Why We’re Shaving Our Heads for Kathy?
Some moments in life call for more than words—they call for action. That’s why Rae and I have made the decision to shave our heads in honour of our beautiful, brave friend Kathy.
Kathy is currently facing one of life’s hardest battles—breast cancer—and doing it with strength, grace, and a fierce sense of humour. Through Cancer with a K, she has shared her journey with raw honesty and courage, reminding us all how powerful it is to show up as your full self, even when things are tough.
We can’t take away her pain or fight the cancer for her—but we can stand beside her. Shaving our heads is our way of saying:
You’re not alone.
We see you.
We love you.
And we’re with you—every step of the way.
It’s a symbol of solidarity, strength, and deep respect. We’re doing this to raise awareness, funds, and spirits—not just for Kathy but for everyone walking this road.
