Support me to GO PINK!
For the fighters, the survivors, those lost in battle, and the ones they left behind.
I am a survivor, I have been cancer free since 2022. My mum was lost in battle in 2004. I started taking part in Go Pink to spare people from the pain of losing someone they love to Breast Cancer. Then in 2021 I was diagnosed. After seeing all my mum had gone through, I was scared. I'm still scared, because the dark "what if" cloud is always there, "what if it comes back, what if I get a secondary cancer from the treatments, would I survive if I was diagnosed with cancer again". Scanxiety, everytime I go for follow up scans and tests, because of that dark "what if" cloud.
Did you know that every day 56 people in Australia are diagnosed with breast cancer and 9 people die from this disease?
This June, I've made a pledge to WEAR IT, and raise funds for world-class breast cancer research to help NBCF towards their vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer.
Please support my GO PINK pledge to save lives and make a difference.
Together, let's make Zero Deaths from breast cancer possible.
