Support my challenge to swim for breast cancer!
9 people in Australia die from breast cancer every single day.
This November, I am taking part in Swim For Breast Cancer for the mothers, sisters, daughters, friends and loves ones who are impacted by this devastating disease.
I am doing this to raise funds for National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) to support vital breast cancer research to help save lives.

Challenge Day 1
Sunday 1st Nov🏊♀️ DAY 1 OF THE 9KM SWIM CHALLENGE – WE'RE OFF! 🩷
10am sharp and we were at the pool with Riah and her wee man for our official first day of the challenge!
And what a fun morning it was! It's always so much more enjoyable having others in the water with you, especially the little ones. There's nothing like a bit of splashing around to bring out your inner big kid! 🤣
Thankfully, Riah had her watch all sorted and tracking our swims, so I didn't have to worry about a thing. One less job for me! 😂
We spent most of our time in the outdoor pool, but eventually moved into the lovely heated indoor pool when wee man started getting a bit chilly. He wasn't quite ready to get out though, so the obvious solution was to find warmer water! 🤣
And the big news... WE SMASHED OUT 950 METRES! 🥳🥳
What an awesome effort for our first day! A bloody good start to our 9km challenge and I'm feeling pretty chuffed with us.
One day down, plenty more metres to go! 💪
