Tradie Tea Party Prize Draw

Terms & Conditions

The “promoter” of the Tradie Tea Party competition is National Breast Cancer Foundation ABN 37 144 841 707 of Level 9, 10 Barrack Street, Sydney NSW 2000.

The competition will commence at 9.00am Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) on 23 September 2019 and registrations to host a Tradie Tea Party will close at 5pm Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT) on 19 November 2019. Funds raised to qualify for the draw can be deposited up until 5pm AEDT on November 22 when prize entries close. Tickets will be distributed via email on November 25.

The draw will take place at the National Breast Cancer Foundation (Level 9, 10 Barrack Street, Sydney NSW 2000) on November 29 at 2pm AEDT, winners will be notified by Monday December 2.

The competition winners will be drawn by Mr Jamie Hiscock of Relationships Australia, Inc.

Method of Draw:

All numbered tickets will be manually drawn from a barrel at the abovementioned location at the abovementioned time.

The Prize Pool:

The competition prize pool comprises: 

  1. Bisley Workwear for your whole worksite, including your embroidered company logo. Valued up to AU$50,000 (NBCF / Bisley Workwear shirt for all employees). Maximum 10 garments per employee. Cannot be resold.
  2. STANLEY hand tools pack. The pack includes STANLEY tool bags, hammers, measuring tapes, knives, pliers, screwdriver sets and more. Valued at AU$10,602 (Exact tools in kit may vary subject to availability)
  3. Crossray 2  - Burner Trolley Barbeque RRP $1,199 & a Gray Nicolls Ultra 2000 Cricket Bat & Carry Bag RRP AU$799.99

Prizes:

All prizes are subject to the discretion of the supplier of that prize.   Prize type and specific model and/or style may be subject to availability. 

No cash alternative to the prizes will be offered. Prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without notice.

Unclaimed Prize Draw Details:

As per NSW legislation, any prize unclaimed by the person holding the ticket entitling the person to that prize, or by some person duly authorised in that behalf, for a period of three months after the drawing of the lottery or the conclusion of the game of chance, shall be sold under the direction of the Minister, and the proceeds of the sale paid into the fund for which the organisation was formed, or to the institution in aid of which the lottery or game of chance was conducted, as the case may be.

If the winner is in ACT, reasonable efforts will be made to contact the prize winner for 14 days but if the winner fails to respond to our notification attempts within this time or provide an address for delivery of the prize or fails to meet any of the eligibility requirements or is otherwise unable to comply with the competition terms and conditions, we reserve the right to disqualify that entrant and offer the prize to the next eligible entrant and thereafter until a winner is found.

The results of a competition will be announced on our website within 5 days following the closing date of the competition. The announcement may include the name, the town or region of residence and prize details of each prize winner.

How to enter:

Entrants (hosts) must register to host a Tradie Tea Party via www.tradieteaparty.org.au.The host will be provided a registration acknowledgement and be assigned a Tradie Tea Party event page.

The host should record all fundraising via their Tradie Tea Party event page.  

Once the registered host reaches one thousand dollars (A$1,000) they will receive an entry in the draw for the prize pool.   The registered host will receive an acknowledgement and be assigned a numbered ticket.

Multiple entries in the prize draw are allowed. Hosts will receive an entry for each one thousand dollars ($1,000 AUD) raised and recorded on their event page. Hosts will receive a notification and numbered ticket to coincide with each one thousand dollars ($1,000 AUD) raised and recorded on their event page.

All numbered tickets will go in the prize draw.

Conditions of Entry:

To be eligible to enter the competition:

(a) entrants must be a real person, at least 18 years old and permanently residing in Australia (proof of address or age may be required)

(b) entrants must not be our employee, officer or agent, or an employee, officer or agent of any person or organisation involved in the running of the competition, and you must not be a family relation of any such person.

The maximum number of entries to a competition per host is not limited.

Any entries received before the opening date or after the closing date of the competition will be invalid and will not be entered in the draw.

No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

We reserve the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of our control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by us.

Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of the terms and conditions.

Exclusions:

Competition excludes South Australia.

Winner notification:

Winners will be notified by SMS and Email by COB on Monday 2nd December

Method for Claiming the Prize:

Claimants will need to verify their identify using three forms of identification, including at least one form of photo ID.

Publication of Winners:

Winners will be published at www.tradieteaparty.org.au.

Promotions on social media are in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus, Instagram, LinkedIn or any other social network. You are providing your information to National Breast Cancer Foundation endorsed by the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) as a deductible gift recipient (DGR) and not to any other party. The information provided will be used in conjunction with our Privacy Policy.
