I'm celebrating my birthday with NBCF this year!
Every day 57 people in Australia are diagnosed with breast cancer. 1 in 7 women in Australia will be diagnosed in their lifetime. Recently, a loved one of mine received a breast cancer diagnosis as well.
October is a special month. Not only is it the month of my birthday, this month I'll be running my first ever half marathon (in pink nails!), and it is also Breast Cancer Awareness Month!
I wanted to take this opportunity to raise funds for world-class breast cancer research and help National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) towards their vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer.
