I'm now a Pink Hero

Support me and other women diagnosed with breast cancer. 

Did you know that every day 58 people in Australia are diagnosed with breast cancer and 9 Australians die every day from this disease?  

I've decided to raise funds for world-class breast cancer research to help National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) towards their vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer.

Please support me and my colleagues in Women and Childrens clinic TUH, with the pledge to save lives and make a difference.

Every donation, big or small, will get me and the team closer to reaching my goal. Together, we can stop deaths from breast cancer.

Sunday 9th Mar
Completed thus on international women's day with wonderful family, friends and colleagues. Was hot ? in Townsville but we did it. I am 7 weeks post Surgery and feeling strong like all the women who supported this event. #fuck cancer ???

Thursday 23rd Jan
2nd day post operation. I am glad to be home, hospitals are not the place to recover especially sleep. I still question why patients are woken up to complete vitals!! Let us sleep.
The wound is confronting and the recovery has just started. I am grateful to have heaps of support and love to get me through it, so thankyou. Together we can #fuckcancer

Thursday 16th Jan
6 sleeps till surgery that feels life changing. I feel positive but scared not knowing what post op recovery looks or feels like.
I am thankful for everyone's support near and far.
