I'm now a Zero Hero
My mother was diagnosed with stage 3 Breast Cancer late last
year. Hard conversations and diagnosis that went from not-so-good to
definitely-not-good, our family support grew stronger than ever before
especially living in different countries.
We celebrate every little or big win and every win is a step
closer to her being cancer-free.
Mum, I hope when you see your reflection you see the same
woman we all see. An inspiring, beautiful warrior with battle wounds that make
you more unique and beautiful than before.
I love you weirdo so damn much and I cant wait till we are all
together. You’ve got this!!
On behalf of my mother and others who are affected, myself and
my partner Jekope will be showing our support by shaving both our hair to raise
awareness where there are ZERO deaths from breast cancer. We are raising funds for more research. All donations made to this
page will help do exactly that.
The National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) is Australia’s
leading national body funding game-changing breast cancer research with money
raised entirely by the Australian public.
I really believe research is the best way to prevent deaths, and
improve how breast cancer is diagnosed, managed and treated. NBCF is working
