I'm now a Pink Hero
6 years without our Nikki and life hasn't been any easier. But her memory lives on, and this fundraiser is a testament to just how missed she is. In honour of her passing, I will be dedicating myself to walking a minimum of 75k steps per week (300,000k for the month). But hopefully it's more!!!! Balancing full time teaching, cake making and study, I know I can, at a minimum hit this number for our girl! She would be so pleased to see so many who miss her and those who didn't know her personally, donate anything in her name.
6 years still feels like yesterday. She would have been 37 this September. So I am hoping to raise $370 in honour of that. But hopefully we can achieve more. Even $5 per donation, would be incredible.
I will be raising money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) towards their vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer.
