Why I'm Shaving My Hair Off
Grandma endured three bouts of cancer, twice with breast cancer and the third with three different cancers.
Grandma believed that the existing research for curing cancer is not good enough. She was right and that's why I'm raising money to help the National Breast Cancer Foundation continue its research into breast cancer. The NBCF is Australia’s leading national body funding game-changing breast cancer research with money raised entirely by the Australian public.
I'm starting to raise money on Grandma's birthday, and will be gathering donations for two months. On the 21st of June I'm going to be shaving my hair to a buzz cut if I reach $1,000. If I reach $2,000 I will be shaving it entirely. For $3,000 I will also shave my beard for the first time in over a year.
