I'm now a Zero Hero
Hello everyone, I have decided to shave my head on Sunday, 25th February 2024 in an effort to make a small contribution to fundraising for the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF). I will also be donating my hair to the Kids with Cancer Foundation where it will be used to make wigs for kids with cancer.
I believe every death from breast cancer is one too many. Unfortunately it’s safe to say, most of us are affected by or know of people directly affected by Breast Cancer in some way. I’m raising funds for more research and all donations made to this page will help do exactly.
The National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) is Australia’s leading national body funding game-changing breast cancer research with money raised entirely by the Australian public.
I really believe research is the best way to prevent deaths, and improve how breast cancer is diagnosed, managed and treated. NBCF is working towards one goal: zero deaths from breast cancer. Together we can help them get there.

Monday 26th Feb Thank you to everyone who has supported me and donated to this amazing cause. Everyone has been soo generous and encouraging. I couldn’t have done it without all of you, so thank you! Embracing my Sinead O’Connor and Brittany Spears (minus the breakdown) era.
Hair dresser thoughts.
Friday 16th Feb I am currently sitting in the chair at the hairdresser with one last colour in my hair before the big chop in 8 days. I can’t help but feel completely overwhelmed with the support I have received already, I was not expecting this! I am so grateful for all who have donated and reached out. I feel like what I am doing is the most minute thing when it comes to the big picture. Too many people are affected by cancer and as one person I feel so helpless. I’ve been told that I am brave and courageous, but I cannot help but think this is nothing compared to how brave and courageous people are who are living and battling Cancer and how their loved ones feel.Thank you to my Supporters
