Did you know that every day 57 people in Australia are diagnosed with breast cancer and 9 people lose their lives to this disease?
This was information not known to me, and it surprises me how many people don’t do regular checks or seek help if something feels abnormal. Although I have not personally been diagnosed with breast cancer, I have had two people known to me who have had breast cancer and survived!
This June, I have made a pledge to WEAR IT and raise funds for world-class breast cancer research to help NBCF towards their vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer.
