My name is Sky, I am a 19 year old boy living in Perth, Western Australia. I will be shaving my hair in honour of my old psychologist Mel who has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer.
Mel has been going through chemotherapy and explaining the process, as well as all the side effects, online, while still maintaining her bubbly and positive personality and outlook on life.
She has inspired me to set up this campaign, and I hope that with the money I raise, I can contribute to the research involved to find her and many other people around Australia a cure.
Please, no matter your gender, sex, or chest size, check for weird lumps, bumps and discolouration. Females are more susceptible to breast cancer, but males can also get it. It's not worth the risk.
