I'm now a Pink Hero
Did you know that every day 58 people in Australia are diagnosed with breast cancer and 9 Australians die every day from this disease?
In January I became one of those 58 people when I found a lump that was diagnosed as breast cancer.
Cancer is something that affects us all. My mum was diagnosed with ovarian cancer 48 years ago and we are still searching for a cure.
I've decided to shave my hair to raise funds for breast cancer research to help the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) towards their vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer.
