Backyard Ultra for Breast Cancer

By Nick AP

It starts with you

Every day in Australia 58 people are diagnosed with breast cancer, and 9 will die from it. It  is the realities of these statistics that made me an orphan.

Breast cancer is a truly awful disease, but the National Breast Cancer Foundation brings hope and tangible difference where it's really needed.

That is why I've taken on the challenge of a backyard ultra with the ambition to raise $10,000 for the NBCF.

On Saturday 20th of September I'll be competing in a backyard ultra. A race where the format follows the completion of a 6.71km loop every hour, until you're the last person standing, or you physically cannot complete another lap (current world record stands at a whopping 119 laps - 797.9km!).

The NBCF's plan of 0 deaths from breast cancer by 2030 can become a reality with the help of the Australian community so I hope that you can donate to my page in efforts to help the NBCF.

Click 'Donate' to make a secure online donation and help me reach my goal. Every donation, big or small, will help me get there. Please donate today.

All donations over $2 are tax deductible and you will be issued with a tax-deductible receipt via email as soon as you make your donation.

Thank you so much for your support! God bless.
