I'm now a Pink Hero
Did you know that every day 58 people in Australia are diagnosed with breast cancer and 9 Australians die every day from this disease?
At Dohertys Creek College, our student leadership team is passionate about bringing this number down in any way we can. Our school has been personally impacted by this disease, with a parent in our community recently receiving a breast cancer diagnosis and requiring extensive treatment.
Hiyab (School Captain) and Nick (Leading Teacher) will be having their heads shaved at school on September 17th, in order to support this fundraising effort.

Hi all,
Thank you to everyone who has supported our charity fundraiser so far. Once our cash donations are updated later today, we will have raised over $2,000 in the first week! With 9 days left until the shave, we are on track for our 5k goal.
As an added incentive, 6 legends have agreed to jump on board. Noah Kim (Acting Assistant Principal), Spencer McAvoy (Year 6 Teacher), Hannah Barker (Social Worker), Asrazi (Year 7), AJ (Year 7) and Ali (Year 7) will all shave their heads if we hit $4,000!
