I'm now a Zero Hero
Recently I had a scare related to a symptom of breast cancer. While I do not have breast cancer, it led me to realise that breast cancer could be anywhere in my social network, myself, a friend, a relative. Knowing how scary it was for me to wonder "do I have cancer?", it made me realise how much more scared someone who has breast cancer could feel. Further research in this area can help improve how breast cancer is diagnosed, managed and treated.
I will be shaving and dying my hair in hopes that with the funds I raise for research, in the near future there will be zero deaths from breast cancer.
