Breast Cancer during Covid
Saturday 11th Sep July 14th 2020 I had my first mammogram. There was no reason. We weren't looking for anything. No lumps, bumps or concerns. Only that my maternal grandmother had breast cancer and I wasn't far off 50. DCIS Ductal Carcinoma in situ was diagnosed. Very early in terms of BC but treatment was mastectomy. Six weeks after my first mammogram I had a mastectomy, on my own. No visitors. The nbcf was a life saver during diagnosis, treatment and recovery. ShareThank you to my Supporters
