I'm now a Zero Hero
We are Makala Basset, Lewis Reading, Lincoln Fry, Cooper McDougall, and Henry Hemley from Stawell Secondary College, VIC. We are hoping to raise and spread awareness for breast cancer. The reason we are doing this is because we have all been personally affected by breast cancer and believe this is a perfect way to raise awareness.
Our goal is to raise money and awareness for Breast Cancer by having a ‘Family Fun Day’, the day is going to include lots of things, some of it includes a barbeque, jumping castle, petting zoo and multiple stalls of random activities and some locals are also going to set up stalls to sell local produce. We are also hoping to acquire a guest speaker to speak about their experiences and to spread awareness.
We are hoping to raise money and spread awareness for the foundation by selling pink ribbons, wrist bands, and chocolate boxes. As well as on the day we will have a barbeque selling sausages and burgers, and we also were thinking of setting up a raffle or trailer of wood and all money that is earned from this will be donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
