For My Mum

Monday 17th Apr I'm going to colour my hair pink and wear pink throughout the month of June in honour of my mother who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2012. It seemed to keep reappearing, an extra lump showing up whenever they thought they got the last one, until my mum said "Screw it! Cut these off!" And my golly are we glad she did. When removing the breast tissue they found up against the muscle was an undetected grape sized mass. Having just passed 10yrs in remission I thank my lucky stars that I still have my mum and I'm thankful for all the steps being made daily to improve the outcomes of cancer diagnosis'. Every little bit helps in the fight against cancer. Share
