I'm now a Zero Hero
I've decided to shave my hair in memory of my Nanna. I want a world where there are ZERO deaths from breast cancer. I believe every death from breast cancer is one too many. To achieve this, I’m raising funds for more research. All donations made to this page will help do exactly that.
The National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) is Australia’s leading national body funding game-changing breast cancer research with money raised entirely by the Australian public.
I really believe research is the best way to prevent deaths, and improve how breast cancer is diagnosed, managed and treated. NBCF is working towards one goal: zero deaths from breast cancer by 2030. Together we can help them get there.

From One Big Heart To Another

I now have a new goal of $3500. It's incredible that I originally thought that I would struggle to make $1000, and now, after a few days, I'm steadily climbing to $3500. I know I've said this before, but it's unbelievably true, now more than ever. Everyone is so generous. You all understand the seriousness of cancer, and how much I want to do something to help. By sponsering me, and supporting the National Brest Cancer Foundation, you are all helping too.

Saturday 9th MarWow. Just within a few hours, I have smashed my goal by almost $1000. To everyone who has donated - You are all so generous. You obviously care just as much as I do. A special thanks to my parents, who recently donated $1000. My new goal is $2500, and I'm hoping to achieve that one too. I can't believe how much we've raised already, and how much of an impact this will make on the world.

Variety - The Childrens' Charity

Within the first few minutes of putting up this page, I already had several donations. I was honestly shocked and grateful at how generous and understanding everyone is. The next step was finding a place to send my hair. I chose Variety - The Childrens' Charity. It is such a caring charity that uses hair to make wigs for children who have lost their hair due to treatments. I am happy to be supporting them in their funds, and thankful that people know how important this is for me.
So another thanks to everyone supporting me and for supporting everyone affected by cancer. - Lisa x
