I'm now a Zero Hero
Hello! My name is Mackenzie Steward and this year, for
the second time I will be cutting my hair and donating it to Variety Hair with
Heart Program.
Four years ago, in 2017, I donated my hair to Hair with Heart and fund raised money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation. I intend
to do this again and have been growing my hair for the past four years to do so.
My Grandma, June Marshall, passed away years before I
was born. She died from breast cancer when my mum was only six. I know she was
an incredible person and mother, and I wish I could’ve met her.
More than 20 000
Australians will be diagnosed with breast cancer in 2021. I hope that the
donations made to this fundraiser contribute to the decrease of this statistic
and help the brave people who have been diagnosed with breast cancer.
I want to thank the generous individuals who donated
last time and I encourage whoever is reading this to donate too. Please
