TEAM BARBRO
I'm hosting a walk in Södermalm, Stockholm in honor of my mamma who died in April 2021 of undetected breast cancer. She was not only an amazing mom, wife and friend, she was also a 20 year breast cancer survivor. Her strength, compassion and warmth were unmatched.
I want to honor her by not only fundraising for breast cancer research through the National Breast Cancer Foundation, but to spread awareness about breast cancer that starts outside of the breasts and is not detected through routine mammograms.
Please note that due to ease of international registration, this fundraiser is for the Australian National Breast Cancer foundation supporting the Zero Hero campaign, funding breast cancer research. The NBCF's mission is to have zero breast cancer deaths.
