For my beautiful grandmother who never gave up fighting

By Kayla Smith

I have chosen to make a difference

I have chosen to Give it Up for Breast Cancer. By taking part, I am challenging myself to go without for one month.

I want a world where there are ZERO deaths from breast cancer. I believe every death from breast cancer is one too many. To achieve this, I’m raising funds for more research. All donations made to this page will help do exactly that.

Click 'Donate' to make a secure online donation and help me reach my goal. Every donation, big or small, will help me get there. Please donate today.

All donations over $2 are tax-deductible and you will be issued with a tax-deductible receipt via email as soon as you make your donation.

Thank you so much for your support!

My background into why I am supporting this course

Monday 4th Jan
I've decided to do this as my grandmother fought and bet breast cancer 3 years ago after beating this my grandfather was diagnosed with lung cancer which had taken over all his body after trying kemo ECT my grandfather decided he could not take anymore and gave up treatment and wanted to pass away in the home him and my grandmother have lived in together there whole life my grandmother become his main carer and cared for him dispite all her own health issues Untill he passed away in there home with my grandma by his side in April 2020 , unfortunately now my grandma's health went back down hill just before Christmas 2020 and she was taken to hospital to try find out what was going on that is when we got the news that my grandmother's breast cancer had returned along with cancer to her lungs kindneys spine and brain and there was nothing they were able Todo fur to her age and health and she made the session that she wanted to spend her final days in her home she's still fighting now and will continue to fight but she has made the choice to sign forms saying do not cpr she has been made as comfortable as possible but we have been told there is not much time left so I hope everyone can get behind this course and treasure your loved ones ?
