This June, I've made a pledge to WEAR IT, SHAVE IT or COLOUR IT and raise funds for world-class breast cancer research to help NBCF towards their vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer.

Mums breast cancer journey

Wednesday 10th Apr
In December 2023 mum was diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer. Thankfully mum self detected her lump, a lot of people are not this lucky! 
Mum underwent surgery before Christmas to remove the mass. This surgery came with its own challenges as mum had a lymph node removed. 

After her recovery it was time to begin radiation treatment. Mum did a week and a half of radiation 3 times a week. 
Weeks on from radiation and mum is still feeling the effects from it! 
Mum now is on medication for the next 5 years which come with many side effects! But she continues to solider on everyday and look after her family! 

She is our warrior who never let the cancer beat her or her spirit! I am proud of her! 

So this June I will colour my hair pink to raise money for cancer research!!! #gopink
