Kats 50 miles for Breast Cancer Research

By kattymae

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an annual campaign to raise awareness about the impact of breast cancer, one that hits close to home with my family. After completing over 50 miles (80km) for Prostate Cancer in 2021, I'm setting myself the same challenge this year to raise money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF). Australia's leading national body funding game-changing breast cancer research.

I believe research is the best way to prevent deaths, and improve how breast cancer is diagnosed, managed and treated.

Every donation, big or small is appreciated!

Thank you so much for your support!

Thursday 13th Oct
For the month, I'll aim to reach the 80km mark and maybe even over. Since the 1st, its been a stead pace of over 8k steps.. 18 miles (30km) and counting already.

Bear with me though, I have a torn meniscus so it'll be steady progress.
