I have recently been diagnosed with breast cancer.
It is early days for me, and we don't have a lot of information yet, but my lingering idea of coupling a fundraiser with my planned Kokoda adventure next month now seems like it was meant to be.
In a few weeks, a few friends and I will tackle the 96-kilometre trek along the Kokoda Trail in Papua New Guinea. We planned this crazy trip well before the 'C' word made an appearance but now that it's here, I'm probably going to need more support than I thought to conquer this hike!
Your donations and messages of support would mean the world to me! And it's for such an amazing cause. If I'd been diagnosed 10 or 15 years ago, my treatment pathways would look a lot different to the options available to me now. Research works. But research costs money.
