I'm now a Zero Hero
As some of you know, my family has recently be affected by breast cancer, as many more people know I love to do crazy shit with my hair. This year I am combining these two and shaving my head to raise money for the NBCF!!!
The shave itself will happen at a littt house party (date tba), which will of course include wine, many shots and a plentiful supply of cheezels. Everyone who donates is welcome at the party (in Canberra); donate $50 or more to have a go at cutting/shaving my hair (sobriety permitting).
I would also love for anyone else to join me in shaving their head or colouring their hair (permanent or temporary) at the party! (And of course to join in with supporting my fundraising efforts).
It has been nearly 9 years since I did the World's Greatest Shave - back then the support friends, family and school helped me raise over $1500: hopefully with your support I can raise even more this time!!!

My final day before the shave
Saturday 23rd MarToday's the day!!!
I will enjoy (haha) a final day at work with long hair before cutting it all off, hopefully with some assistance from some lovely friends.
I'm still about $200 away from my goal! Whilst I'm not opposed to making additional donations myself to reach my goal (we all know I can throw away large amounts of money), but it would be so much better to get there with the help of donations from lovely friends and family!
I can accept donations until the 30th of December, next Friday, so if you're a conscientious consumer you can wait to see the final product (me with no hair) before you make the payment.

Less than 2 weeks to go!!!
Sunday 10th MarMain announcement here is that I have changed my goal.
This fundraising game is harder than I expected, but I like the idea of meeting my goal.
So rather than a slightly crazy goal, I'm going for something that should be achievable!

Thursday 28th FebI will be shaving my head in just over 3 weeks!!!
I'm still nowhere near my goal, but I know its achievable.

Date for shave has been set!
Thursday 21st FebI've set a date for shaving my head! Saturday the 23rd of March, five weeks away.
At the moment I've raised just over 10% of my goal (including cash donations).
Any contribution will help me reach my goal of $1600!
- Is donating a larger amount at once too much? $10 a week for three weeks is the same as one donation of $30!
- Got spare change rolling around in your wallet or purse (who really uses cash anyway), I'm happy to take it off your hands as a donation!
- Can you go without a coffee or two each week? In the next five weeks before the shave party that’s $20 or $40!
Don't forget a total donation of $50 or more lets you help relieve me of my hair!
