I'm now a Zero Hero
In 2020, at the far too young age of 55, my mum Janet, lost her battle to breast cancer and went to heaven. Since then our family has been raising money for both research to aid treatments and find cures and for support for other families navigating this dreadful disease.
For my birthday this year, I am going to cut and donate my hair ( that I've been growing for the past 4 years) to "Kids with cancer" and raise research money for The National Breast Cancer Foundation.

Today is the day
Wednesday 10th Apr Today is the day that I will be cutting off my hair and donating it. It already has been a morning of mixed emotions and I am sure there will be plenty more when it actually happens around 10am this morning.
