This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I'm raising funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) to support world-class breast cancer research and help make Zero Deaths from breast cancer a reality.

No one should experience cancer
Thursday 17th SepYears ago, while COVID-19 was spreading throughout the world, my family received the worst possible news from the hospital: my beloved mum had been diagnosed with breast cancer and COVID-19 at the same time. Even today, I still can’t really move on from this painful memory. Although it sometimes continues to haunt me, I am incredibly grateful that my mum is now cancer-free!
This experience taught me just how devastating cancer can be, not only for patients, but also for the people who love them. No one should have to experience cancer or any other serious illness alone. While scrolling through Instagram, I came across NBCF’s advertisement promoting this activity. I immediately knew that I wanted to participate and help raise awareness and support for people in need.
I hope that one day, cancer will become a disease that no one has to fear. Until then, I want to do whatever I can, even in a small way, to support cancer research and stand alongside patients and their families. Participating in this activity is deeply personal to me, and I hope my contribution can help bring us one step closer to a cancer-free future.
