1000 Floors for Breast Cancer

Those that know my Mum has recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer which basically means it’s now with her forever. My Mum is the strongest person I know and has been thrown many challenges and with no doubt overcome them.

So I'm getting active and setting myself a challenge to raise money for NBCF and world-class breast cancer research. 

I’m going to be climbing 1000 floors on the Stair Master machine. 1000 is a significant number as around 1000 young women are diagnosed with breast cancer each year, equivalent to about 3 young women each day.

The National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) is Australia’s leading national body funding game-changing breast cancer research with money raised entirely by the Australian public.

I believe research is the best way to prevent deaths, and improve how breast cancer is diagnosed, managed and treated.
