I would like to give a big thank you to everyone who helped and donated so far I’ve almost reached my goal of $2500, it’s been so helpful.

Great Grandma Freda, Uncle John and Auntie Julie, Auntie Di, Auntie B, Linda, Grandma and Grandad, Mum and Dad, Monkey Dane, Carmen, Rachael, Elyssa, Melissa, Kelly-Ann, Kelly, Bec, Jill, Hannah, Meghan, Mel, Linda F, Brad, Prue, Tracey and massive huge thank you to Kobe for letting me put up everything at Gravity Gym.
I would also like to mention that this Friday, Gravity Gym is turning pink for breast cancer and we will be there colouring hair, making friendship bracelets, face painting/eye makeup and selling cookies and cakes for a small contribution.

Hi! I’m Charlotte

Wednesday 11th Oct

Hi, my name is Charlotte I am 11 years old here’s my story of why I would like to cut my hair. I have been growing my hair since I was born and I have aways been scared to cut it (even trim it) but my Nanna, Bonnie Cassen, passed away on 1st of August 2023. She died from stage four metastatic Triple Negative Breast Cancer. 

It was the saddest day of my life so far. It has been hard and there has been a lot of grieving especially by my older brother, Logan, and my uncles, Ryan and Dane, but not a lot from my mum, my Nanna’s daughter. I ask her why she isn’t really that sad she said she is but it’s also because she’s been grieving for two years since the diagnosis and prognosis. 

I’ve decided to cut off half of my hair and I would like to fundraise for NBCF because I think it will make my Nanna proud and it will be in memory of her and I also want to donate the hair to be made into a wig because it will make other people happy too. Please donate so other people don’t have to feel the sadness that my family has felt.
