I'm now a Zero Hero
I have decided to grow my hair (and get it CHOPPED OFF!!) to donate to charity. I have always been fortunate in that my hair grows quickly and so donating my hair has always been something I wanted to do. So I'm finally doing it.
This fundraiser has 2 parts. I am donating the hair itself to Sustainablesalon.org.
Sustainablesalon.org is an organisation that collects, sorts and distributes hair donations to charitable organisations to be made into wigs for those suffering medically induced hair loss caused by conditions such as alopecia and cancer.
Secondly I wanted to raise funds for Breast Cancer as my family has been touched by this horrible disease and I want a world where there are ZERO deaths from breast cancer.
The National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) is Australia’s leading national body funding game-changing breast cancer research with money raised entirely by the Australian public. NBCF is working towards one goal: zero deaths from breast cancer by 2030. Together we can help them get there.
