It's time for the snip

I've decided it's time to cut my hair off! I've been growing it for almost 3 years. It's been fun but it's time. I want to make it meaningful though. So here we go. My mum died from breast cancer 10 years ago. It was a long, drawn out, painful process that lasted almost five years. It was fucking horrific. It was devastating and soul destroying. I loved her more than anything. No one should have to experience this kind of loss.

My goal is to raise as much money as I can to contribute towards breast cancer research, so hopefully one day no one else will ever have to go through what I and so many others had to experience.

After the funraiser I'm thinking of doing an event where we have a small get together with some food and drinks and the top donor does the honours of chopping my hair off. At the moment I'm thinking Feb 5th, but this is subject to change.
