I'm now a Zero Hero
For Our Janet,
My beautiful sister, Janet (on the right) was diagnosed in August 2017 with HER2+ Breast Cancer, she fought the battle with dignity, bravery and was always positive. She returned to work as a nurse in Mental Health, a job she loved, with colleagues and patients who admired her and loved seeing her beautiful smile.
In July 2019 she found out the HER2+ breast cancer had returned in her liver and was aggressive. Three weeks and six days after diagnosis, Janet passed away with her loving family around her. She was 52 years old.
Janet was my only sibling and we were like twins. While the grief and devastation is still with me, helping to raise funds keeps me going, with pride and purpose.
Janet is loved and missed by her 3 sons, her pride and joy, and by our parents, myself, brother in law, niece and nephew.
