UCJC Pink Day!!!
This is the University of Canberra's Japan club here to raise money and awareness coming into October, the breast cancer awareness month. We know how important cancer research is and how cancer can affect those around us. This October the 20th at UC we are hosting a pink day! Pink day is a day to dress up in pink and join in celebrations to raise money to battle breast cancer. There will be best dressed prizes and a whole lot of fun!
We're hosting this event because we want a world where there are ZERO deaths from breast cancer. We believe every death from breast cancer is one too many. To achieve this, We're raising funds for more research. All donations made to this page will help do exactly that.
The National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) is Australia’s leading national body funding game-changing breast cancer research with money raised entirely by the Australian public.
We really believe research is the best way to prevent deaths, and improve how breast cancer is diagnosed, managed and treated. NBCF is working towards one goal: zero deaths from breast cancer. Together we can help them get there.

Tuesday 10th Oct With Final confirmation from the University, Pink Day has officially been locked in for commencement on the 20th of October! Looking forward to seeing everyone there! Share

Wednesday 20th Sep Originally, the Pink day was planned for the 13th of October, but to aline with the universities schedule, we are moving it to the 20th! Just a week difference we hope everyone can still make it :) Share
