Update from Jeegs (12th of June)

Hi all, here is a little update from Jeegs…

I had my first mammogram and ultrasound since starting treatment.
We have found my tumour to be shrinking, which means treatment has been working.
I had a meeting with my new surgeon last Thursday to discuss different options and build some knowledge about what's expected to come after treatment.
I completed my 4th treatment of chemotherapy.
I now only have 2 to go until surgery in August.

Our dear friend Justine (Jeegs)

In February 2024 Jeegs was diagnosed with stage 3 HER2 positive breast cancer which has also spread to her lymphnode.
Jeegs has two beautiful little girls (4 & 1) to watch grow up and a loving partner Jeremy to grow old with. 

Team Jeegs is a group of woman who have been friends with Jeegs since secondary school, class of 2008. Wow! 16 years of friendship! How lucky are we! 
With Jeegs determination and positive mindset we have no doubt she will beat this cancer! 
We love you Jeegs!
