💗 ON WEDNESDAYS WE WEAR PINK! 💗

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Adelaide University Library is getting involved to support an important cause.

Did you know that every day, 56 people in Australia are diagnosed with breast cancer and 9 people in Australia die from this disease?

This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we’re supporting the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) to help fund world-class breast cancer research and work towards a future of Zero Deaths from breast cancer.

Throughout October, we’re encouraging Library staff to get involved in our On Wednesdays We Wear Pink campaign:

🩷 Wear pink every Wednesday to show your support
🧁 Bring along a pink baked good to share with your colleagues
💰 Consider making a donation to support breast cancer research

Every donation, big or small, helps fund vital research into prevention, early detection, improved treatments and better outcomes for people impacted by breast cancer.

So, get your pink outfits ready, get baking and help us show our support throughout October! 💗
