Help Us Run for Zero Deaths from Breast Cancer
Did you know that every day in Australia, 58 people are diagnosed with breast cancer — and tragically, 9 people lose their lives to the disease?
On Friday night, October 24th, I’ll be running 90km overnight, finishing on the morning of Saturday, October 25th at 7:00am — a kilometre for every Australian lost to breast cancer that day.
This challenge is in support of the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) and their mission of Zero Deaths from breast cancer.
Breast cancer has touched many people close to me — clients, friends, and family. In 2020, my mum was diagnosed and underwent radiotherapy, chemotherapy, and surgery. Watching her endure treatment was incredibly tough, but thanks to her oncology team and access to world-class care, we’re lucky to still have her here today.
