We've made a pledge to GO PINK in memory of Deborah Zoe Maybury 30yrs anniversary.

Did you know that every day 57 people in Australia are diagnosed with breast cancer and 9 people lose their lives to this disease?  

This June, we have made a pledge to WEAR IT, SHAVE IT or COLOUR IT and raise funds for world-class breast cancer research to help NBCF towards their vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer.  

Please support our GO PINK pledge to save lives and make a difference.  

Together, we can stop deaths from breast cancer. 

This July 21st marks 30 years since my mother's arduous struggle with breast cancer came to an end. She was an ardent volunteer, supporter, and spokeswoman for the National Breast Cancer Foundation. 

 It was her goal in the year of her death to ensure that every Australian woman knew that breast cancer knew no age limits and that women should never be afraid to get second opinions. In an effort to ensure that no woman had to lose her life to this terrible illness, she campaigned for the government to provide more funding for research and more diagnostic resources for younger women. 

This is why I believed that supporting GO PINK in June would be a wonderful way for me to pay tribute to her memory and help a worthy cause.

In June, I will wear a pink braids for the whole month.
