I'm now a Zero Hero
2 years ago i dyed my hair to raise money for breast cancer. I felt like doing something for a good cause and because my great grandmother had been through breast cancer too.... Little did i know that 2 years later my beautiful mother would be diagnosed with breast cancer. My mum has been through the thick and thin of life, having 8 crazy daughters, coaching softball for many years and then the rest!!! She has just started on her road to recovery!! A road that seems like its going to take soo long to get through and yet has only just started. While we cant take any of this away for her, we can do things to help her feel supported and not alone while she faces the next year or so of challenges. So before her hair falls out, Myself and my sister Jacqui are going to shave our heads for the NBCF. We are shaving our heads this Tuesday 29th March but will continue to have this link open to fundraise until the end of April.
